Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority life at California State University, Northridge!

The university is committed to the positive development of our Greek-letter affiliated students, and we are proud of their diversity, accomplishments, leadership, and academic success. Please use this section of our website to learn more information about our community whether you are a current member, prospective member, parent, advisor or a resident of the Northridge community. You may also explore fraternities and sororities at CSUN, events, guidelines, policy on hazing or how to coexist with the Northridge residential community. Interested in joining a fraternity or sorority? Follow these steps to ensure proper registration procedures:

  1. Take the Pre- Recruitment Education Program (PREP)
  2. Attend recruitment/tabling events for any/all of our 54 fraternities/sororities
  3. Attend a Bid/Invitation Day at the Matador Involvement Center on the date specified to you by your organization of choice.
  4. If you accept a Bid/Invitation to join a fraternity/sorority, you must attend a Greek 101 date hosted by the Matador Involvement Center.
