Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority life at California State University, Northridge!

The university is committed to the positive development of our Greek-letter affiliated students, and we are proud of their diversity, accomplishments, leadership, and academic success. Please use this section of our website to learn more information about our community whether you are a current member, prospective member, parent, advisor or a resident of the Northridge community. You may also explore fraternities and sororities at CSUN, events, guidelines, policy on hazing or how to coexist with the Northridge residential community. Join us for the Spring 2021 Virtual Fraternity & Sorority Life Leadership Summit. We have a morning and afternoon session for you to choose from but most IMPORTANTLY we have some great topics and presenters for this year. Please make sure to check in with your Chapter President for required attendance minimums and Don’t forget the deadline to RSVP is Sunday, March 14th, 2021.

Interested in joining a fraternity or sorority? Follow these steps to ensure proper registration procedures:

STEP 1: Register and complete Pre-Recruitment Education Program (PREP) via Matasync

STEP 2: Attend at least 1 of the 6 MANDATORY Fraternity & Sorority Life zoom orientations 

·        SESSION 1: Friday, January 29th – 12:00PM - 1:00PM

·        SESSION 2: Tuesday, February 2nd – 1:00PM - 2:00PM

·        SESSION 3: Thursday, February 4th – 4:00PM - 5:00PM

·        SESSION 4: Monday, February 8th – 2:00PM - 3:00PM

·        SESSION 5: Wednesday, February 17th – 12:00PM - 1:00PM  

·        SESSION 6: Wednesday, February 23rd – 2:00PM - 3:00PM  

***Links to each ZOOM session will be emailed to Potential New Members/Interest upon completing PREP***

STEP 3: Attend VIRTUAL recruitment/intake events, informationals, and council specific orientations for any/all of our 50+ Fraternities/Sororities.

STEP 4: Attend a virtual bid day where you will meet with a member of the Fraternity & Sorority Life team to receive your invitation to start your new member education process.
