The Marilyn Magaram Center has transitioned to hybrid operations in compliance with CSUN’s COVID-19 measures, with modifications to our schedule as follows:

Virtual operations:
Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm

Open to the public:
Monday 8:30am-12:30pm
Tuesday 8:30am-4:30pm
Wednesday 8:30am-4:30pm
Thursday 8:30am-12:30pm
Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Special Announcement

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Philip Magaram on August 22, 2021. The Marilyn Magaram Center was established by Phil and his family in 1991 as a tribute and memorial to Marilyn, who was an alumna and faculty of CSUN.

Pathways Lactation Scholarships

Through funding provided by USDA NIFA and our “Pathways to Success” program, we are pleased to announce that scholarships will be available in Spring 2021 for undergraduate Nutrition and Dietetics students and graduate Human Nutrition students to complete a 10-week virtual comprehensive lactation education training.
