Green Pasta


1/2 pound whole wheat angel hair pasta
1 (6-ounce) bag fresh spinach
1 cup basil leaves, packed
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup lowfat milk
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
salt and pepper to taste


Cook pasta according to package directions.
In a blender or food processor, chop spinach
and basil. Ina a large saucepan, saute garlic in
olive oil. Add milk and spinach mixture to the
saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a
simmer. Stir occasionally until sauce thickens
slightly. Remove from heat. Add pasta,
cheese, and season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately.
