As Canary Island date palms stand sentry, CSUN’s Bookstein Hall glows at twilight. The home of the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics, Juniper Hall was officially renamed to Bookstein Hall on Oct. 17, in honor of accounting industry leader Harvey Bookstein ’70 (Business Administration) and his wife, Harriet (see NEWS, page 8, for more). The building opened in 1995. More than 50,000 Nazarian College alumni have made their mark on the local, national and global economies over the college’s 51 years. The college has grown to become one of the 10 largest accredited business schools in the nation and ranks among the most prestigious in the world.
