The SI Leader position offers a unique blend of tutoring and teaching, allowing you to actively contribute to the academic success of your peers. As an SI Leader, you will attend the target course and conduct engaging and interactive SI sessions in your very own classroom, providing invaluable support to fellow students.
Responsibilities:
As an SI Leader, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Attend the target course lectures
- Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans for SI sessions
- Attend and facilitate SI sessions
- Participate in team meetings and professional development trainings

- Paid Position: Earn a rate of $17.86 - $19 per hour, depending on class level and placement (compensated for lesson planning, class time, training, and monthly meetings)
Minimum Requirements:
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate students preferred (Qualified Freshman are encouraged to apply)
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of course content
- Maintain excellent organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Must be enrolled in at least one unit as a matriculated CSUN student (Note: Tseng College units do not apply)
