VPN Migration - Pulse Secure to GlobalProtect

Why Migrate?

CSUN is transitioning from the current Virtual Private Network (VPN) solution, Pulse Secure, to GlobalProtect. This transitions CSUN’s VPN to a system that aligns with the CSU Chancellor’s Office Common Network Initiative (CNI) from one nearing its end-of-support.

Faculty and Staff who use CSUN's VPN to access campus resources from off-campus are encouraged to transition to the new solution, GlobalProtect. Pulse Secure, will be available until September 28, 2019 to allow time for this transition but GlobalProtect is available now.

How Do I Get VPN GlobalProtect?

Faculty and staff (and other approved users) with a CSUN user ID and password can download VPN GlobalProtect to their computers from the IT Downloads Page, or to their mobile devices from the iOS app store or Google Play store. The VPN GlobalProtect software is available for no additional cost and downloading only takes a few minutes.
