LinkedIn and Lynda Launch Learning Paths to Help Boost Careers

April 20, 2016

"LinkedIn is now connecting more than just people. This month, the company launched a new feature through Lynda.com called “Learning Paths.” Each of the 53 paths currently available is a package of Lynda.com courses designed to give people a boost in their current career, or help them start an entirely different one. Ever wanted to become an EDM producer? There’s a path for that—and many other technology, design and business roles. Having completed a Learning Path (which can take 10 to 68 hours, depending on the skill), users can display their new competencies on their LinkedIn profiles.

For users who can’t decide path to take, LinkedIn can also make pathway recommendations based on what their interests are, or which jobs are popular, according to Re/Code. By the end of the year, the company expects to offer over 100 pathways."
