Today's technology offers many opportunities to enrich teaching and enhance student learning. CSUN faculty are invited to apply for an eLearning Grant to obtain support to develop instructional projects that improve student learning – for instance through flipped or hybrid classes, tablet pedagogy or interactive eTexts.

Visit the CSUN eLearning website to learn about different types of projects, and submit a proposal using the eLearning Grant application formThe application deadline is Monday, December 8, 2014.

Successful awardees will be funded through reassigned time or special pay for completion of their eLearning project. Faculty will receive support and training from a team of instructional designers and technologists beginning with a one-week eLearning Institute during the summer. The week-long training, adapted from the successful two-week Course Redesign Institute and offered in collaboration with Faculty Development, will demonstrate technology tools for teaching and learning in the digital age.

For those who are interested in an eLearning project but would like some assistance in figuring out what to do, please contact ftc@csun.edu to consult with one of the Faculty Technology Center's instructional designers.
