Accessing CSUN Email: Android 4.2.2

Use these instructions to access CSUN email:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. In the Accounts section, select your CSUN email account. This may be listed as “Corporate”.
  3. Select Account settings.
  4. Select your CSUN email account.
  5. Scroll down and select Remove account.
  6. At the top of the screen, select Add Account.
  7. Select Corporate
  8. Enter your CSUN email address as .
  9. Enter your password.
  10. Select Next.
  11. In the Domain/Username field, delete what is there and enter your email address as  .
  12. Re-enter password.
  13. In the Server field, enter
  14. Verify that Use secure connection (SSL) is checked.
  15. Select Next.
  16. A remote security message displays, select the OK button.
  17. Check or uncheck preferences as needed.
  18. Select the Next button.
  19. Enter an optional name for your account.
  20. Select the Next button.
  21. If you receive a message about administrative security features, select the Activate button.
TouchDown App (for Android)

Anyone using the TouchDown app for Android may need to set up the app.

  1. From the Main screen, press the Menu button (this button varies by device).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. The Account tab: Change Login ID to firstname.lastname@ .
  4. The Connection tab: change Server Name to
  5. Go back to the Account tab.
  6. Select Save in the lower left corner (may have to scroll down).
  7. If successful, settings will be verified and the mailbox will be updated.
