Kwang Woon University has a 75-year-old history in high-tech and advanced education and research areas. The university is very proud of its history and its role to educate and encourage young talents to shape the future with creativity and ingenuity.

Location: Office of External and International Affairs (Hwado Hall 210), Kwangwoon University Kwangwoon-ro 20, Nowon-gu, Seoul 139-701, Korea

Duration of exchange: Students may participate in the program for either one semester (fall or spring) or for one academic year.

Program cost: $500 per month (excluding housing)


Campus dormitories are available.

There are two room types:

  • Apartment to share with six people
  • Studio flat for one or two people.

International house I

International house I offers big housing that six students can share a bedroom, study room, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. It costs KRW 650,000 per six-month period.

International house II

International house II offers one small studio room that is furnished. It costs around KRW 400,000 per month per room. In case two students share one room, the cost will be down to half per month.

Pick-up service provided upon arrival: Airport pick-up available.

Requirements and Application Information

  • Have a cumulative overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher
  • Have completed a minimum of 60 units at CSUN (for transfer students) at the time of application and must be currently a CSUN undergraduate student.
