The CSUN Student Philosophical Society (SPS) is a student-run philosophy club. It is as active as it is friendly. Students gather together to listen to a 45-minute presentation in a relaxed and informal setting. Faculty members and students alike are invited to give presentations on a topic of their choice; in the recent past, the topics have ranged from the possibility of time travel to the morality of euthanasia. Everyone on campus is welcome to attend these philosophy discussions (they are not just for philosophy majors), and everyone is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they wish.
