Nazia Kazi is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Stockton University in New Jersey. Her talk, The Rise of Islamophobia in the Trump Era, traces the bipartisan history of US xenophobia and racialized foreign policy practices, allowing a nuanced understanding of the nature of contemporary anti-Muslim racism in the US.
