Professor Lawrence Baron will discuss the perennial best-selling Holocaust books and why they appeal to a diverse spectrum of the American reading public. Not surprisingly, Anne Frank, Primo Levi, and Elie Wiesel are on this top-ten list.  Learn also about the other very popular works ranging from children's books to Christian Evangelical memoirs.  

Lawrence Baron is a Professor Emeritus of Modern Jewish History at San Diego State University.   He has authored many articles and books, including Projecting The Holocaust Into The Present: The Changing Focus of Contemporary Holocaust Cinema, and he is editor of the volume The Modern Jewish Experience in World Cinema.
