Location:
Valley Performing Arts Center
Cost:
$45 - $150

Save A Child's Heart is Israel's preeminent humanitarian organization specializing in charitable pediatric cardiac care and providing urgently needed pediatric heart surgery and follow-up care for indigent children from developing countries. Our mission is to improve the quality of pediatric cardiac care for children from countries where the heart surgery they need is unobtainable.

Israel’s most celebrated female singing star, Rita, renowned worldwide for her unique voice, will be making a special trip from Israel to perform at the concert. The concert will also feature Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester, The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony under the direction of noted conductor Dr. Noreen Green, the 15 year-old pianist/composer/song-writer Emily Bear, American-Israeli contemporary dance group Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble, and singer/songwriter and peace advocate Liel Kolet. Palestinian musical artist Ali Paris, Berklee College of Music’s youngest student to date, will also perform on the qanun, an Arabic lap harp.  For a full description of the concert and featured artists, click here for the Symphony of the Heart website.
