Born in Israel to American parents, Danny first came to the United States to star on Broadway in "Only Fools Are Sad." A playwright, actor, singer and composer, Danny has also enriched synagogues with his spiritual teachings and music.  Currently he serves as Chazzan and Spiritual Leader of Makom LA, a new, dynamic, post-denominational Jewish Community in Los Angeles.

Danny Maseng will give an experiential presentation on Jewish music through singing and story-telling. An accomplished musician and performer, Maseng will play his own music and also explain the cultural backdrop which shapes Jewish music.
