This film tells a story of a liaison between two people living vastly different lives mere blocks away from one another in present-day Montreal. Meira, a young Hasidic wife and mother who feels deadened by the constraints imposed by her community, meets Felix, a middle-aged atheist adrift and estranged from his family. Through Felix, Meira learns of the world outside of her tight-knit Orthodox community and finally must choose her future path. Winner of Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2014 Toronto Film Festival. 105 minutes, in Yiddish, French, and English with English subtitles.
