Location:Anita - free public screening
This award-winning film by renowned filmmaker Marcos Carnevale tells the story of Anita Feldman, a vulnerable young woman who lives in Buenos Aires with her mother. During the 1994 bombing of the AIMA Jewish Community Center – the most lethal bombing in Argentina’s history – Anita is separated from her mother. Without her, Anita wanders through the city seeking food and shelter. Both heartwarming and tragic, this Argentinian film explores the possibilities for community and compassion in a modern urban setting.
