Freshmen and Sophomores: Interested in Graduate School? Prepare Now!

CSUN and Northwestern

Are you a freshman or sophomore who is interested in possibly earning a Masters degree or a PhD?  This workshop will introduce you to steps you could be taking now to gain valuable experience and make yourself a strong candidate for graduate programs.  We'll discuss coursework you might want to take early; clubs, organizations, and campus jobs you might want to consider for your resume; research opportunities; and other things at CSUN you can do to prepare yourself for graduate school.  You'll hear from Seniors currently applying to graduate school, a representative from Northwestern University who will talk about what they look for in applicants, and CSUN faculty and staff who help prepare students for application to graduate school.
