CDSC 10th Anniversary Celebration

This event celebrates CDSC’s tenth anniversary, grounding the initiative’s origins in student activism. CSUN alumni Dr. José Gómez, Jonnae Thompson, and Justin Marks were organizers of the March 4, 2010 student mobilization against tuition/fee hikes during the Great Recession and for undocumented students. The three alumni will speak about the March 4th mobilization, the LAPD crackdown of the protest and arrest of six of the marchers, and the subsequent legal struggle to have charges dropped.
