Lourdes is a champion in the promotion of women to positions of leadership in the public and private sector as directors, city councilors, mayors, and congresswomen. As a Congresswoman in the National Assembly she fought to protect water and the environment. She currently serves as Undersecretary of Participation, Transparency and Anti-Corruption of the Presidency of the Republic.
