Department Statement on the War in Gaza
The Department of Asian American Studies at CSUN grieves over the ongoing deprivation, mass suffering, death, and destruction in Israel and Palestine. We join millions around the world calling for the violence and oppression to stop in this uneven war. We share the analyses expressed in the Association of Asian American Studies Solidarity Statement with Palestine and the CSU Ethnic Studies for Palestine Statement. You can sign petitions to demand a ceasefire with Amnesty International, Oxfam International, and Jewish Voice for Peace.

This is every other week meeting starting on Oct 11, 2:15-3:45 PM. Dr. Josh Chow (he/him) is a therapist at CSUN University Counseling Services who identifies as Asian and Queer. He believes in the power of representation, from his personal and professional experiences, and enjoys providing support to those who hold systemically marginalized identities.
