Welcome to the Asian American Studies Department

 Welcome to Fall 2023!!!

To celebrate the opening of the new semester, Asian American Studies (AAS) and the Asian American Studies Pathways Project (AASPP) in collaboration with the USU will be hosting two events happening this week.

Get to know more about the AAS department, AASPP, and other campus resources tabling at the APIDA Cultural Welcome event on Wednesday, September 13th from 4:00PM-5:30PM @ the USU Northridge Center.  There will be snacks, performances, activities, and prizes!

Part 2 of the Welcome Back Event is happening the very next day on Thursday, September 14th.  Join us at the Glenn Omatsu House from 3:00PM-6:00PM for our annual Welcome Back BBQ.  Enjoy some Filipino delicacies while you get to know more about the AAS department, about AASPP (currently the only APIDA serving resource on campus) and about the Glenn Omatsu House.   We will also have other resources tabling, some clubs and orgs, and some performers.  The address for the Glenn Omatsu House is on the flyer.  It is located right behind the B6 parking lot just beyond the chainlink fence on the Northwest side.
