As a group we are committed to our mission of providing excellent human resource programs and services to support the creation and maintenance of an outstanding teaching and learning environment where all people are valued. We fulfill this mission by creating partnerships with our campus colleagues to develop creative systems to attract, retain, develop and engage a diverse and talented group of staff, administrators and faculty.

As a University, we employ more than 4,000 faculty and staff, enroll over 40,000 students, and rank 10th in the nation in bachelor degrees awarded to underrepresented students.  While you read these pages you will see that this is a great place to work because of our genuine commitment to people as we incorporate a “culture of caring” into all that we do and in how we do it.

Thank you to all who participated in the CSU virtual Open Enrollment Benefits Fair. We had hundreds of CUN faculty and staff join their CSU colleagues for the second year of this 100% virtual event!

As a reminder, you can view your current Benefits Summary and Dependent Coverage in the CSUN portal. If you submitted changes as part of the annual Open Enrollment period, you can view those changes in the portal by changing the date field on those pages to "01/01/2022". Changes made during Open Enrollment (which closed October 15, 2021) will be effective January 1, 2022.

QPR Suicide Prevention Training for Faculty and Staff, with Anne Eipe.  Hands reaching out to one another in a sign of support and offering of help.

CSUN faculty and staff are invited to join this training. Come learn insightful data about suicide trends, gain valuable resource information, and find out tips to recognize the signs of suicidal thoughts in others and ways to help prevent suicide. Read more
