CSU CCC Class | Religious Accommodations in the Classroom

This session is offered by CSU Fullerton, participating with Northridge in a CSU System-Wide Professional & Personal Development Cross Campus Collaboration program.

Colleagues attending this session may hail from the Chancellor’s Office, Channel Islands, Chico, East Bay, Fresno, Humboldt, Long Beach, Monterey Bay, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, and Stanislaus.

Description:

With so many different faiths and practices, it may be difficult to know what to accommodate and what is not required to be accommodated. This training will cover the requirements for religious accommodation for students. Issues such as absences, dress, and how to respond to a request will be discussed. Hypotheticals for group discussion will be posted.
