When used intentionally, they can be an effective way to engage students and are often showcased on resumes or shared on social media as valid recognition to document achievement. In this workshop you will discover the “why” and “how” of digital badging through Canvas. You will come away with an understanding of the value of digital badges and the skills for how to implement a badging system using Badgr in your Canvas course as well as common pitfalls to avoid.
