The Work Number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, allowing you to access verification services when you need them.

Convenient Access
The Work Number is available 24/7, so employment and income verification can be completed without waiting for HR to provide paperwork.
Privacy and Security
Your employment and income information is protected and can only be accessed by credentialed verifiers through an authorized process.
Your Authorization
You authorize a credentialed verifier to access your information. Authorization may be provided through a borrower authorization form, an application for a benefit, or a Salary Key, which is a one-time access code.
Review Your Information
You can request an Employment Data Report (EDR) to review the employment and income information maintained about you and see who has received your information.
The EDR is available in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Do I need to contact CSUN Human Resources for employment verification?
No. Employees can use The Work Number to provide employment and income verification to authorized organizations without contacting Human Resources.
Who can request my information?
Employment and income information may be accessed by credentialed verifiers for approved purposes and with appropriate authorization.
Is The Work Number available outside of regular business hours?
Yes. The Work Number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

CSUN previously used InVerify for employment verification. The InVerify platform was discontinued effective December 7, 2022.
