Philanthropy
Our HR family believes in helping our community in need. Each year, HR internally coordinates a “Holiday Donations Campaign.” For 2015 HR employees partnered with MEND (Meet Each Need With Dignity) to donate blankets to families in need. MEND was grateful for HR’s help collecting 62 blankets for those in need during the Holiday Season.
It’s On Us Pledge
The 2015 HR greeting card helped promote the “It’s On Us” campaign against campus sexual assault. Prompted by the White House, It’s On Us is cultural movement aimed at fundamentally shifting the way we thing about sexual assault. In an effort to raise awareness, HR staff members participated in “take the pledge” to help end sexual violence, by signing the pledge form at http://www.csun.edu/eqd/its-on-us-pledge.
