Founders' Day Luncheon & 50-Year Club Induction

Congratulations to the Classes of 1966 and 1967!

The Founders' Day Luncheon marks the celebration of your entry into CSUN’s 50-Year Club. Alumni from the Classes of 1966 and 1967 and faculty who started at CSUN in the same era join together to enjoy a lunch at which CSUN President Dianne F. Harrison will present you with a special pin to commemorate this milestone.  This year, the Founders’ Day Luncheon featuring your 50-Year Club induction is the keystone on which CSUN will launch Homecoming.

You can celebrate your 50th class reunion during the exclusive Founders’ Day Luncheon, and then enjoy a day filled with celebratory activities at Homecoming. Activities include CSUN innovation showcases, campus-guided tours, department open houses, an open-air BBQ and wine garden at the University Student Union, alumni vs. student car races on the Matador Motorway and a CSUN spirit-filled evening at the Matadome with a CSUN men’s basketball game.

Registration to the Founders’ Day Luncheon is by invitation only, and is complimentary for Class of 1966 and 1967 alumni via the link below. Family and friends are welcome; guest Luncheon tickets, Homecoming tickets and Men's Basketball game tickets can also be purchased during the registration process.  Homecoming tickets are $35 and include admission, food and beverages; Game tickets are $5 per person.

 50th Reunion Class Gift

On this special anniversary, members of the classes of '66 and '67 are joining together to show their Valley State pride and make a difference for CSUN by being a part of the 50th Reunion Class Gift. Creating a class legacy is a proud part of the 50th reunion year tradition at universities across the country. There is a friendly competition between the Class of 1966 and Class of 1967 to see which class contributes the most to the 50th Reunion Class Gift Campaign. The class of 1967 is already making waves with a generous gift of an alumni who decided to make a $5,000 gift. If this is something that resonates with you, tax-deductible contributions to the 50th Reunion Class Gift can be designated to your preferred field of study, the CSUN Food Pantry, the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, or you can make a planned gift as part of the Heritage Society. A minimum gift of $50 is the required amount to be recognized as part of the 50th Reunion Class Gift campaign.

Donations made to the 50th Reunion Class Gift can be specified to your preferred field of study, to the Alumni Scholarship Fund, to the CSUN Food Pantry, or can be made as part of the Heritage Society to lend support wherever the university needs it most. Your $50 gift will help improve the university experience for generations of students to come.
