If you are a student enrolled at any California State University campus currently living and/or working in the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley area, you’re welcome to visit the CSUN Food Pantry to receive food and services. Our staff is ready to safely welcome you! Face coverings are required.

CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program that helps low-income individuals and families buy the food they need. CalFresh dollars help stretch a tight food budget and help many people afford to incorporate healthy foods like fruits and vegetables into their diets.

The CSUN Food Pantry exists to provide emergency nourishment and basic necessities at no cost to CSUN’s students. The CSUN Food Pantry supplies food and offers food program assistance to those who are without reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. Our goal is to minimize the academic impact on our students by providing the needed essentials. The CSUN Food Pantry is a resource for CSUN students, faculty, and staff to help alleviate food insecurity and hunger within our campus community.

Services

 		The CSUN Food Pantry can provide food and toiletries for CSUN students, faculty, and staff in need. Individuals may visit the CSUN Food Pantry ONCE per week and at each visit they receive a week’s worth food. Toiletries are available upon on request.

Who is eligible for services?

The CSUN Food Pantry is open to all CSUN students, staff, and faculty.

How often can I visit the pantry?

Individuals may visit the CSUN Food Pantry ONCE per week.

How does it work?

It’s quick, simple, and confidential.
Visitors to the CSUN Food Pantry are NOT expected to show proof of need, we only ask for proof of campus affiliation such a CSUN ID or your myCSUNprofile (found on the home page, below "Quick Links"). Please make sure to either bring your ID with you every time you visit the pantry or be able to access the CSUN homepage from a device's browser.

Located at Laurel Hall (next to Sagebrush Hall, directly across from parking lots D6 and E6)

Monday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Tuesday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Wednesday: 1:00pm - 7:00pm
Thursday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm
