It Can’t Happen Here

by Sinclair Lewis

It Can't Happen Here was written in 1935, but you will be amazed at the parallels to the present day.  Lewis was inspired to write it in the depths of the Great Depression, and by his journalist wife’s experience interviewing Hitler when she was a foreign correspondent in Berlin.

It Can’t Happen Here is available at your library, as well as on Amazon and at Audible.com, and possibly at a used bookstore near you. Catherine recommends abe.com for used books by mail order, but pay attention to shipping timelines.

The CSUN University Library has a few copies of this book that can be requested for home delivery, or starting March 3, 2021, for delivery to a library locker:

If all the local copies are checked out, you can request the book from another CSU library for free through the CSU+ service. It might take a week or two to get here due to mail delivery.
