About the Lactation Education Curriculum at CSUN
In the Fall of 2010, CSUN launched its undergraduate lactation educator training course. Since
then, CSUN has expanded its curriculum and now offers students to opportunity to:
- Earn a Minor in Human Lactation
- Complete a 2-course lactation education sequence which fulfills the Lactation Specific Education Requirement for the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) certification examination.
- Complete an undergraduate Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) Recognized Breastfeeding course.
- Complete a graduate Lactation Education Accreditation and Approval Review Committee (LEAARC) Recognized Breastfeeding course.
