The Department of Kinesiology invites you to two performance events: Fall Semester (1) Colaboratoria: Graduate Student, Alumni and Faculty Dance Concert, and (2) Kinesis: Emerging Choreography.  The annual fall and spring dance concerts provide rich opportunities to integrate the art and science of human movement, in fact, psychophysiology data will be gathered during each performance. Both performance events are supported by the Institutionally Related Activities program; this program is integral to the vitality of our dance programming at CSUN.

First:  Colaboratoria: Graduate Student, Alumni, and Faculty Dance Concert features extraordinary performers and choreographers. We are proud to include alumni who are now professional choreographers. They will share their talents with our current dance students and will join with our dance faculty and graduate students who are all creating new works.

The Department of Kinesiology, with the support of the Institutionally Related Activities program, proudly sponsors Colaboratoria: Graduate Student, Alumni, and Faculty Dance Concert that will take place on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 7:30 pm, and Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, located in the Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall (located on the east side of the campus off Zelzah Street by the Student Union). See the attached poster for details about Colaboratoria.

Second: Kinesis: Emerging Choreography will take place Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 7:30 pm and Thursday, April 27, 2022, at 2 pm and 7:30 p.m. in the Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall (located on the east side of the campus off Zelzah Street by the Student Union).

Kinesis: Emerging Choreography provides a glimpse into the art and life that is and continues to occur at CSUN. This evening of dance features the works of top undergraduate student choreographers and dancers who will demonstrate diverse choreographic vision, passionate dancing, and powerful performances. The Department of Kinesiology, with the support of the Institutionally Related Activities program, proudly sponsors Kinesis: Emerging Choreography.
