GSAHA is an association of the students in the Master of Health Administration program. Our mission is to provide a vehicle for constructive student involvement, promoting networking opportunities, and enhancing MSHA students' personal and professional skills in the healthcare administration community. Our members will partake in campus activities, community health fairs, social events, mentoring, and engage with leaders in the healthcare industry. Our goal is to help healthcare management students evolve into future healthcare leaders while concurrently serving communities with compassion and ethics ultimately leading to improvement in patient quality and safety within the health systems.
HASA is an association of the students of the Health Administration program, which promotes and maintains active involvement and cooperation amongst the faculty and with the appropriate healthcare agencies and facilities within our community. It represents to students in matters relating to the curriculum, filed experience, career placement, orientation of new students and provides social and professional extracurricular activities for its members.
HESO is the Health Education Student Organization, the sole representative student organization for Public Health Education undergraduate students at CSUN. Having been active on campus for over 20 years, HESO has a long history of community and campus service in relation to the promotion of health and healthy lifestyles. Events include health booths regarding a pertinent health concern. Our organization also participates in events with other large organizations such as Relay for Life, MS Walk, AIDS Walk, and Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure events. HESO frequently offers guest speakers, internship possibilities, and job opportunities. The MPHSA is an organization that seeks to guide, support, and empower students enrolled in the MPH program to achieve their academic, professional, and social goals. Ideally, as a public health professional, every student is encouraged to grow and flourish in their own unique way. This is greatly dependent on striving to improve the life of the MPH Graduate Student, through a positive and fulfilling MPH program set forth by the dedicated, MPHSA. The Radiologic Sciences Student Association (RSSA) is an organization established to provide CSUN students an opportunity to discover the world of medical imaging. RSSA is also dedicated to our local community and patient population through service activities and participation in community events. RSSA will provide mentoring to new CSUN students and professional mentorship to professional students.
