Graduate Studies

Welcome to Graduate Studies at California State University, Northridge!

We are delighted that you are considering-or have joined us-at CSUN. This is a special place for graduate students.
CSUN offers outstanding graduate programs that give students the opportunity to work one on one with world class faculty while simultaneously benefitting from all of the services that a large university campus can provide. Because CSUN’s graduate programs focus on real world issues, our students can readily apply what they have learned to their future workplace. Whether studying water availability in Geography, fluid mechanics in Mechanical Engineering or autism in Psychology, graduate students at CSUN are learning the tools needed to solve local and global problems.

The office of Graduate Studies is responsible for the graduate domestic admissions process and implementing university graduate policies and procedures. We are also involved in support programs for graduate student funding as well as organizing events aimed at fostering students academic success. The Graduate Studies Division encompasses the Graduate Studies Committee (GSC), Graduate Domestic Admissions and Graduate Evaluation Services.

We hope that you will come and visit us in Valera Hall during your time at CSUN.
