Submit Required Financial Aid Documents ASAP

Items listed on your ToDo List on the CSUN Portal are documents that the Financial Aid Office needs in order to complete the review of your application. You should submit required documents prior to May 12, 2023 or as soon as possible. Not all students will need to submit documents, however you can log onto the CSUN Portal to confirm if you have any outstanding documents. We have developed a few guides that will assist you on how to get the documents and how to submit them to our office.

Below are common documents that are requested:

  • Verification Worksheet
    • o Dependent students will also need to submit the worksheet Parent Signature page that will be available after submitting the worksheet online.
  • Tax transcripts or Tax returns
  • Verification of Non-Filing Letter
  • Student or Parent W-2s
  • Proof of U.S Citizenship
  • Identity and Statement of Educational Purpose 

Important: You will only need to submit the documents listed on your To Do List, not all of the above documents may be requested from you.
