Dianne F. Harrison Leadership Award Endowment
$8,000 Scholarship Opportunity for Incoming Sophomores!
Created upon the occasion of President Dianne F. Harrison’s Investiture, the Harrison Leadership Award will recognize a California State University, Northridge freshmen student for their leadership, as demonstrated by involvement in student government, a club, or another campus organization.
To be eligible to apply, the applicant must have successfully completed at least 30 Units at CSUN by the end of the Spring 2018 semester and were in freshmen standing during the 2017-18 Academic Year
This scholarship is reserved for students who will be sophomores during the Fall 2018-Spring 2019 academic year.
International students and AB540 students are eligible to apply.
Two letters of recommendation are required for this scholarship application. These letters should address and document the applicant’s on campus involvement and leadership. These letters of recommendation must be submitted by faculty or staff and will be submitted in support of my application. I understand that, at least one of the two required letters must be submitted by a CSUN faculty member.
*Undergraduate students must enroll in 12 units or more during the Fall 2018 & Spring 2019 terms.
*Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
*Selected students must attend Freshman Convocation on September 13, 2018
Award Amount: $8,000.00
