The Financial Aid and Scholarship Department remains committed to providing essential services in a virtual environment. To protect the health and safety of everyone in our community, our counters in Bayramian Hall are closed until further notice however, we are available to answer your questions by phone at 1-818-677-4085 or by email at email@example.com. Our business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
In addition, the Scholarship Office is available to answer your scholarship questions by phone at 1-818-677-4907 Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. You can also email your scholarship questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have documents on your “To Do List” that must be submitted, we have two options you can use to get your documents to our department. Please make sure to include your Student ID number on each page you submit. Documents without an ID number will not be processed.

Financial Aid and Scholarship Department
The Financial Aid & Scholarship Department has begun awarding Middle-Class Scholarships (MCS) for 2021-2022. The Middle-Class Scholarship is awarded as a preliminary award based on a student’s current eligibility and may be subject to change. Original award amounts are based on full time enrollment status. Awards to eligible students will be made continually throughout the term as students enroll in the minimum required units and complete their financial aid file. Read more
President Erika D. Beck recently notified eligible students they would be receiving a CSUN Cares for Students (CCS) Grant for Summer 2021. Intended to provide COVID-related relief, this grant awards federal financial assistance to students currently enrolled on at least a part-time basis with a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file for the 2020-2021 academic year. The California Dream Act is NOT based on Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status. Therefore, students receiving financial aid through the California Dream Act will not be impacted by the ending of DACA. In addition, the provisions of AB540/AB2000 are California Law and will not be affected by federal action related to DACA. Read more
