Have Your Voice Heard
Dr. Debra Berry Malmberg, a Professor of Psychology at CSUN, is currently conducting a 20 minute survey to collect information from families of children diagnosed with autism. The goal of this study is to investigate a relationship between sociodemographic characteristics with the diagnosis of autism, timing of diagnosis, and types of treatments used. This study will also aim to determine a relationship between these factors and number of service hours allotted by California Regional Centers to the child and referral patterns for families. This study is designed to gather information that will better inform the community of the importance of providing mental health services equally to all people, as well as promoting awareness to families.
