Join us for the Santa Clarita Valley Special Education Night! This free event, presented in partnership with the Santa Clarita Valley SELPA CAC and CAPTAIN, is designed specifically for parents of students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

What to Expect

  • Learn: Get valuable insights on special education, IEP meeting preparation, school-level transitions, and behavior tips.
  • Create: Make and take home your own IEP binder, an "All About Me" student info page, and a visual schedule or social story.
  • Connect: Build community with special education staff members, local organizations, and fellow parents.

  • Aprender: Obtenga información valiosa sobre educación especial, cómo prepararse para las reuniones del IEP, transiciones de nivel escolar y consejos de comportamiento.
  • Crear: Elabore y llévese a casa su propia carpeta del IEP, una página de información del estudiante "Todo sobre mí" (All About Me) y un horario visual o historia social.
  • Conectar: Construya una comunidad con miembros del personal de educación especial, organizaciones locales y otros padres.
