Brief Biography
My name is Pat Swenson and I have been teaching at CSUN for thirty years. Most of my courses are completely online; in fact, I am a member of CSUN's "Digital Ten" - the first group of professors teaching completely online courses.
I strive to include interesting, uplifting, and life-altering material in my courses. I am always fascinated to read how my students positively apply the course readings, films, and material to their lives.
I am also an author of a book entitled, Online Teaching in the Digital Age (SAGE Publications). This is a short, quick-start guide for teachers new to online teaching. I am currently writing my second book -- a children's storybook. Stay tuned!
