Dr. Brad Jackson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at California State University, Northridge. He received the B.Sc.(Eng.), M.Sc.(Eng.), and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada, in 2002, 2005, and 2009, respectively.

From 2010 to 2017 Prof. Jackson was a Scientist at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), where he conducted research for Canada’s Department of National Defence in the area of communications electronic warfare. He has been Canada’s technical representative in numerous international forums including NATO and Five Eyes scientific working groups, and was a visiting scientist at Defence Science & Technology Laboratory (Dstl) within the Ministry of Defence, United Kingdom.

From 2016 to 2019 Dr. Jackson was an Adjunct Professor at the Royal Military College of Canada, and he is currently a Senior Member of the IEEE. He has served as a reviewer for numerous IEEE transactions and conferences, and has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers in the areas of RF/microwave circuits, antennas, and electronic warfare. Prof. Jackson was selected to be CSUN's College of Engineering and Computer Science Research Fellow for 2019-2020.
