College of Engineering and Computer Science

College of Social and Behavioral Sciences

College of Humanities

The College of Humanities is home to 10 academic departments and five interdisciplinary programs, making it the most diverse college at CSUN. The college comprises disciplines that traditionally make up the study of humanities — including philosophy, English, and modern and classical languages — while also housing the oldest and largest Chicana and Chicano studies department and the only Central American studies department in the United States.

College of Science and Mathematics

The College of Science and Mathematics is among the top in the nation in preparing students who go on to earn doctoral degrees in the sciences. It offers outstanding instruction, laboratories, faculty-mentored research opportunities, government- and industry-funded programs, and field experiences. The college plays a critical role in ensuring the region and the nation have a pool of talented scientists capable of assuming leadership roles in industry. It’s no surprise that NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory employs more CSUN alumni than graduates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
