CECS receives 5.5M HSI-Stem Grant

Dear colleagues
I am very pleased to share some good news that we received yesterday from the Department of Education regarding our college wide collaborative proposal for an HSI-STEM grant.
This is a 5 year, $ 5.5 M grant which will support 120 students from all programs in the college working with faculty and staff from CECS, faculty from the College of Education, as well as the College of the Canyons and Glendale Community College. It covers several elements of student academic success and collaborative curriculum development using technology.
