Robert Behl

Mr. Robert S. Behl earned his BS in engineering from CSUN, an MS in biomedical engineering from USC, and an MBA in finance and economics from the William Simon Graduate School of Management. He holds 22 US patents for medical devices. Mr. Behl is the founder of several medical device companies that have developed products for use in surgical, oncologic, and vascular applications. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Percutaneous Systems, Inc. Mr. Behl is also a member of Life Science Angels, and currently serves as a founding Board Member of Guided Delivery Systems, a pioneering cardiology company.

 

Mr. Behl was the 2005 College of Engineering and Computer Science Commencement speaker. In this speech he advised graduates to find a job he/she really loves, to make a major effort to find out what the customer’s problem actually is and what he/she/it really needs, and to think “out of the box.” He expected the new graduates of this College to “make some very positive changes to this world.”
