I have spent my entire 23 year career at Northrop Grumman Space Technology (NGST), formerly TRW. I am currently the NGST Platforms & Integrating Technology Director responsible for the all spacecraft platform strategy plus all the associated research and development activities for Mechanical Systems, Avionics, Electrical Power, Propulsion, Autonomy & Controls and Robotics. I am a space vehicle system engineer by trade, having lead teams on many proposal efforts and key government hardware programs over the past 15 years. I have managed large functional organizations within our System Engineering group with my previous role being the manager for our Space & Optical Systems Center, consisting of over 160 people.

I was born and raised in Southern California. I attended Cal State Northridge (B.S. Engineering, 1984), Stanford University (M.S. Electrical Engineering, 1986) and UCLA (Certificate, Astronautical Engineering, 1991). I am married and have two boys (5 and 9 years old). I am very active in the community as a coach and referee for soccer. I am currently a member of the Industrial Advisory Board for CSUN College of Engineering and & Computer Science and Stanford University Aero/Astro Department.
