COE Self-Care Activities Spring 2019 - Week 16

This is the final week of our self-care program this academic year. I want to thank all faculty and staff who participated this year, and a huge thank you to Josh Einhorn who lead our wonderful weekly meditation and inspiration sessions, and also brought incredible meditation leaders to our special monthly presentations. CSUN Eisner College Passes Credentialing Re-Accreditation with Flying Colors

California Commission on Teacher Credentialing watermark

This March, the Michael D. Eisner College of Education hosted a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Accreditation team, which reviewed our 27 credential programs in depth. Following the site visit, we received the summary report with a unanimous recommendation of re-accreditation without any further conditions. This recommendation was approved by the Commission on Accreditation on May 2nd, with our programs being roundly praised.

The Center for Teaching and Learning at CSUN welcomed their fourth biennial “What Really Works in Education” conference on Monday April 8th, 2019. The conference focused on how to improve outcomes for all students in an educational setting using Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and was sponsored in part by the Schools First Federal Credit Union.
