Summer Academic Enrichment Program

Robotics Camp

June 11 - June 15, 2018 8:00 - 12:45 p.m.

SAEP will again offer the week-long Robotics Camp for grades 6-12. The program takes place from June 11 to June 15, 2018, the week prior to the official start of SAEP Enrichment and Academic classes. This half-day camp begins each morning at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m. in the afternoon. You do not need to register for the five-week program in order to participate in the Robotics Camp.

Camp Description: SAEP has partnered with CSUN's robotics club and engineering students in order to create a week-long camp that teaches students the basics of Vex Robotics and, ultimately, provide students with the knowledge necessary to build their own Vex Robot. Students will work together in groups to both design and build a unique robot, and will then enter their robot in a competition against the robots created by other student groups. Through this fun and engaging program, your student will learn the real life applications of science, math, and engineering.

Cost: The cost of this program is $250.
