Course Description:
Students in this class will have the opportunity to explore paper as a design medium to explore a variety of art and engineering feats. Each week will focus on a different skill/activity.
Week 1: Make a recycled magazine bowl out of repurposed magazines.
Week 2: Build a vertical marble roller coaster out of repurposed materials.
Week 3: Build a variety of paper creatures and sculptures using templates and prefab designs.
Week 4: Build a library of miniature hand made books.
Week 5: Make a necklace out of repurposed magazines or printed materials.
