In our chess class, we aim to teach students the game and rules of chess, how pieces are moved & captured, and how to begin & end a game successfully. While learning about the game, students also build strategies of each piece which helps students become aware of bad and good habits that also helps play a role into building a strong structure for success in chess and their own life.
