Description:
This fun, interactive course will introduce students to the Spanish language by focusing on the four key areas of foreign language study: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The teacher will provide context and conversational examples for the vocabulary and grammar introduced in each unit. Each unit consists of a new vocabulary theme and grammar concept. These new concepts will be reinforced through a variety of reading and listening comprehension activities, speaking and writing activities, and interactive activities and practices. Students will become familiar with common vocabulary terms and phrases, learn a wide range of grammar patterns, as well as participate in simple conversations and respond appropriately to basic conversational prompts.
