3D Printing Camp

 June 15th - June 19th, 2020 and July 27th - July 31st, 2020

 8:00 - 12:45 p.m.

SAEP will offer the week-long 3D Printing Camp for grades 6-12. This half-day camp begins each morning at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m. in the afternoon. You do not need to register for the five-week program in order to participate in the 3D Printing Camp.

Camp Description: SAEP has partnered with CSUN's Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) club and engineering students in order to create a week-long camp that teaches students the basics of 3D Printing and, ultimately, provide students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to build their own 3D printed prototype. This camp will introduce the world of additive manufacturing through lectures and projects. Starting from the basic fundamentals of product development, and introduction to 3D Computer-Aided Design software with Autodesk Inventor. The main principles of 3D printing technology will be introduced. An innovative 3D printing prototype will be conducted which students apply what they learned in a design project, participating students got an outstanding and enjoyable experience of the emerging 3D printing technology.

Cost: The cost of this program is $280.
